Captain Evan Amato currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 365, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Massachusetts.
Prior to being an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies, Captain Amato served in a variety of leadership roles across the Financial Management and Cost Analysis career fields. He served as Chief, Cost Analysis, Aerial Networks Division, in the Cyber and Network Directorate, a part of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. He also served as the Deputy Flight Commander, Financial Services, 412th Comptroller Squadron and Deputy Flight Commander, Financial Analysis, 412th Comptroller Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base, California.
